We are always talking about the new businesses that are opening in Twin Falls but a lot of small towns in the Magic Valley are also growing.

Kimberly previously had two gas stations and a few restaurants. Now they have two different shopping centers that are occupied by restaurants, banks, office buildings and more.

Filer has also seen growth in the last year. The owners of Logan's Grocery Store, recently remodeled their grocery store and added 7,000 square feet of retail space. Since the remodel True Value has opened and Pizza Hut plans to open soon in Filer.

Filer Mayor, Rick Dunn reports that eleven commercial business permits have been sought in Filer in the past year.

Two of them have been for new retail businesses. One was a new storage company called A2J Storage and the other is a Pizza Hut that expected to open soon.

According to KMVT, Rick Dunn would also like to see a hotel open in Filer.

If you live in a small town like Filer and Kimberly, what new business would you like to see open?
