Do You Suffer From One of the Biggest Fears in Idaho?
We all have fears. Some of them are due to traumatic events in life, some of them are from anxiety, and some of them are from the unknown. Whatever the reason, fears can sometimes consume people's lives and despite how tough many residents in Idaho are, they all have concerns as well. Some fears are faced daily, some are in a person's head, and others are fear of what could or could not happen in the future. There is one fear that consumes many Idahoans, and a decent amount of people in the Gem State let it consume them every day.
One Of The Biggest Fears in Idaho
Being single can take a toll on people, and finding someone to spend time with or spend your life with can be stressful and cause anxiety. It is no surprise that one of the biggest fears in Idaho for many single people is ending up alone. A recent study by datingadvice.com revealed that two in five young Americans have anxiety when it comes to dating, and that is why they don't date at all. When asked, 47 percent of these young Americans blamed their anxiety on being single, but only 55 percent of them have been clinically diagnosed for their anxiety. When asked, only 15 percent admitted they confessed their anxiety on a first date, and one in four prefer to date someone else who also has anxiety.
Dating With Anxiety in Idaho
Of those polled, 42 percent admitted to their biggest fear being that they will die alone, and 36 percent of women admitted to having anxiety about their biological clock. Not surprisingly, nearly 80 percent of young Americans said that dating stressed them out. We have all been through the days of dating, and it can be a stressful and tough time, but for those who get uncomfortable, the payoff can often be worth it. Not surprisingly, 1 in 3 polled admitted to canceling a date due to their anxiety, and 42 percent have ghosted for the same reason. Of those with anxiety, 64 percent said they fear rejection, 43 percent have nothing to say, and 16 percent said they have had a panic attack on a first date.
Dating requires that most people step out of their comfort zone and it can be tough when dates don't go well. Rejection is a fear that many face, and after so many failed attempts, it takes a toll on someone's confidence and mindset. Don't let anxiety ruin finding a soul mate and get out there and keep trying. Know you are not alone though, and likely your date is anxious and stressed just like you.
