Saturday my 3 year old son was so excited to wake up to snow, but by the time we had finished with breakfast and located all of his snow clothes, most of the snow had already melted. He stood there, in his tiny snow boots with his bottom lip sticking out, saying "I wanted to make a snowman."

Wow. Break a dad's heart. So something had to be done! Enter: Marshmallow Snowmen!

What you need

  • Marshmellows - The more sizes, the better
  • Graham Crackers - For the base
  • Gumdrops - For decoration
  • Pretzels - For Arms
  • Frosting
  • Toothpicks
  • Any other decoration you can find.

This one's an easy project. We found that adding a couple of toothpicks inside the marshmallows (kind of like a wooden spine) helps keep the snowmen standing upright. Take your graham cracker and add white frosting to make snow. Add any kind of decoration you want.

Then you're snowmen can battle. Fight!

Okay, not really. But it is a lot of fun to make these.
