Summer is quickly approaching and it is time to begin figuring out summer plans for families, especially for children. Finding childcare and ways to entertain children in the Gem State during summer can be difficult. If you don't know a high school student to watch your kids and don't have family nearby, there are options like Boys and Girls Club, but still, time is running out to get things handled. There is also the task of finding fun ways for your children to spend their summer, and depending on where you live will limit your options or give you plenty to do. In the Magic Valley, there is fun to be had, despite what many say. One great place to take children or to go to as a family in the Magic Valley during the summer is now open, and you may not be aware of it.

When it comes to the Magic Valley, some places are open only during the summer, and one of those places is Putters. It is a great place to go to during a summer evenings or afternoons and have fun playing a round of mini golf. They have snacks, shaved ice, and a fun course to play. Many assume they don't open until Memorial Day weekend, but that is not the case. They are now officially open for the season and are open Monday through Thursday from noon to 8 PM and Friday through Sunday from 10 AM to 8 PM.

If you have never been to Putters, it is a must during the summer. On weekdays you can play a round of mini golf for $10 for adults and $7 for kids, or on the weekends it'll cost $12 for adults and $9 for kids. If you have a large group you may qualify for a group discount. Make sure to ask when going. Putters is a great place to hold a summer birthday party, a private event, or a family reunion. If you are someone who wants to get out and enjoy a round without kids, May 30 is the night you will want to go for Sip-N-Putt from 6 PM to 10 PM. The 21 Oldest Rides at Lagoon Park in Utah Are Still Fun Today
