The older we get, the harder it can be to find entertainment at times. Everything has gotten expensive, and finding fun things to do and time to have fun can be rough. Depending on what you are into and what you can afford determines what type of fun you have. For those who still like to be a big kid, waterparks and amusement parks are expensive, skating rinks are tough to find, and trampoline parks are not kind to adult legs and bodies. One thing that is always fun is an arcade, and while Dave and Buster's is nice, there aren't many other options. Soon, there might be some new adult entertainment coming to Idaho, Washington, and Utah, and many are excited at the possibility of it happening.

Before you get too excited, get your mind out of the gutter; this is not that type of entertainment. Recently, it was announced that Chuck E. Cheese has decided to start having adult arcades, geared towards the adults who grew up enjoying the popular arcade and pizza place that defined a generation. The new adult arcades are called Chuck's Arcade and are retro-style arcades that are not meant for kids like the popular Chuck E. Cheese. There are currently 10 locations in the country, with most of them being in the Eastern United States or the Central United States. While it is promoted as an adult arcade, it is open to all ages, but could the Northwest be getting one soon?

With Dave and Buster's struggling financially and Chuck's Arcade looking to expand, how long until one is in the Northwest? There are currently Chuck E. Cheese locations in Idaho, Washington, and Utah, and it is possible that if a store is underperforming, instead of closing down, an upgrade and change of target audience could be exactly what is needed to turn things around. Salt Lake City and Seattle make perfect sense for a Chuck's Arcade, as does Boise, but perhaps Twin Falls, which has been begging for something of this nature, could use one inside the Magic Valley Mall or in the area. In August, a new location will open in Brea, California, meaning the arcades are already spreading west as early as this year.
