Most are familiar with the basic In-N-Out menu. You can get a hamburger, a double-double, fries, shakes, and a drink. It isn't a complicated menu, but there are also items you may not be aware of that you can order that do not show up on the regular menu. Most know about protein style for their hamburgers, where instead of a bun, the meat and cheese are in lettuce. Others know about animal style fries that are covered with cheese, onions, and spread sauce. While these might be the most popular secret menu items, they are not the only ones. There are multiple ways to order your burgers, shakes, and fries that you might not know are available to you.

Secret Menu Items at In-N-Out

In-N-Out offers three types of shakes. You can order vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry, but you can also order Neapolitan, which mixes all three flavors, black and white, which mixes vanilla and chocolate, or even a root beer float, where you combine a vanilla shake with root beer. For fries, you can order cheese fries or decide how fried you want your fries, with options such as extra light, light, well done, extra well done, and crispy. In terms of hamburgers, how much meat and cheese is too much? You can order a three-by-three, or even a four-by-four, which is four patties and four slices of cheese.
