Don’t Miss 7 Fun Events This Lovely Weekend in the Magic Valley

Valentine's Day has passed, but with the holiday falling in the middle of the week, many will be looking to celebrate and take out their valentines this weekend. While a date night is a great way to spend the weekend, instead of doing dinner and a movie, how about taking your special someone to a fun event to enjoy and make it a date to remember? There are many events taking place this Valentine's Day weekend in the Magic Valley to help take your sweetheart too or to enjoy some time out of the house.

Thursday, February 15 - Throwback Adult Skating

Many of us grew up going to the skating rink, but as we get older, and have kids, our bodies are less functional, and we never go back as adults. Now is the time to change that, with Throwback Adult Skating at Skateland this Thursday. This event is for adults only, 21 and older, and will take place on Thursday from 7 PM to 10:30 PM. There will be cocktails, spirits, skating, and fun without children. Get a babysitter or leave the kids home alone, as you have some fun to start this weekend. Thursday, February 15 Through Saturday, February, 17 - 'The Play That Goes Wrong'

How about getting out of town for a bit this weekend, and taking a drive to Rupert and going to the Historic Wilson Theatre? While you are there you can enjoy the comedy play 'The Play That Goes Wrong.' The play is a murder mystery with a cast of characters that will have you laughing throughout the performance. Friday, February 16 and Saturday, February 17 - The Relationship Show

Take your valentine out this weekend and have a good laugh by taking them to the Orpheum Theatre in Twin Falls for The Relationship Show. The comedy show will have you laughing and having a good time. The show is performed by Heath, Mollie, Ivan, Austin, Steve, and Faustino and will have comedy, stories, and a little music. The show will be performed on Friday and Saturday, with showtimes at 7 PM each night. Tickets start as low as $18.50 and the show will be between 90 minutes to 2 hours. Saturday, February 17 - Family Lego Build

Being stuck in the house can be a bore, and sometimes it is nice to get the kids out and have a little fun. If you want to get out but not spend too much money, head on over to the Twin Falls Public Library for the family Lego building. From 11 AM to 1 PM on Saturday you can play with the Library's massive Lego collection and have fun crafting new things with your children, or if you feel adventurous, you can take on the engineering challenge. Saturday, February 17 - Valentine's Scavenger Hunt and Escape Game

With Valentine's being on a Wednesday this year, many will use the weekend to celebrate, but instead of the normal date, why not have a fun, adventurous one? Head over to the Escapuary and take part in their Valentine's Scavenger Hunt and Escape Game. Tickets are $60 for a couple, and the game will take you on a scavenger hunt, giving you until 8 PM to finish. Saturday, February 17 - Cloverleaf & Sockeye Collab

The best way to end a date night is with a little dessert, and what is better than ice cream? This Saturday you can have a little ice cream and beer together at a special event taking place at Cloverleaf Farmers Market, located on Main in downtown Twin Falls. The event is from 6 PM to 9 PM and is the Cloverleaf and Sockeye Collab. Sockeye Brewing and Cloverleaf have teamed up to make some new ice cream and beer together, and this weekend is the time to celebrate their new flavors. Saturday, February 17 - Dueling Pianos

After a long week of work, it is nice to get out, have a drink, and enjoy some live music. Koto Brewing offers all of these, and this weekend will host Rock Dee House Dueling Pianos. If you have never seen Dueling Pianos, you are in for a treat. This will be the first show of the year, and it will begin on Saturday at 8 PM.
