If Idaho Wrote Their Own Candy Hearts
When Valentine's Day comes around, many are excited to enjoy some chocolates, and that is the candy that dominates the headlines. Flowers are also what many women want for the holiday. While these two things are popular on the day of love, there is also another candy that many look forward to each year. Candy hearts are popular this time of year with their sweet flavors, their easy to eat sizes, and the adorable messages on the candy. If Idaho were to make its own candy hearts, what message would be written on them?
'Let's Go Hunting'
Hunting is a big thing in Idaho, and it could be a romantic gesture to ask your partner to go with you on a candy heart.
'Pass the Fry Sauce'
It may sound offensive, but in reality, it is asking your partner to pass something you need and want. Candy hearts can be used to send signals, and this one signals that you need the sauce.
'You're My Huckleberry'
Huckleberries are delicious and popular in the Gem State, and calling someone your huckleberry can be a cute nickname in Idaho.
'You're My Cute Potato'
Similar to above, living in Idaho, calling someone a little potato or using the word to reference your partner seems fitting.
'Is That Smell You?'
There are many smells in Idaho, and odds are you've been driving in the car through the state and wondered if that smell was outside or someone in the vehicle. This one may not be romantic, but it is fitting for a candy heart.
'You Make My Gun Go Off'
This one might be an inappropriate innuendo, but with how many gun owners there are in Southern Idaho and how passionate many in the state are about them, it seems like a fitting candy heart message.
'Elk For Dinner?'
Since candy hearts can be used to ask questions like 'Will you marry me?' or 'Date?', why can't there be one asking for some elk for dinner?
'Want to Go Camping?'
Similar to asking for elk for dinner, this is a romantic date idea that many in Idaho would enjoy. What better way to spend Valentine's Day than camping in the wilderness in the Gem State?
'Nice Rack'
Get your mind out of the gutter. This one can be used in a few different ways, such as referencing someone's gun rack, or perhaps they have a buck on the wall with a huge rack.
'Catch of the Day'
Many in Idaho enjoy fishing, and there are some impressive fish that get caught around here. Calling your partner the catch of the day can be a big compliment in these parts.

These are only a few ideas for what Idahoans would put on candy hearts if they got to choose the messages. For some other fun ideas, click here to see what women would put, and click here to see what men would put. If you had to choose, what messages would you write?
