As a parent it is our job to protect our kids. That is why we lather our kids with sunscreen, put them in harnesses when we drive and tell them not to play in the street. All of these things are normal things to tell your children. According to a new report from ABC News  you will need to warn your children about falling TVs too.

Almost 200,000 CHILDREN have been hospitalized in the U.S. in the past two decades from FALLING TVs . . . and 215 children have died. 

Both old fashioned, heavy TVs and modern flat-screens can hurt kids, but it seems the modern TVs are more likely to fall, since injury rates DOUBLED between 1990 and 2011
