Dental sealants for children are a great way to protect your child's teeth, but they can be expensive. If you want to protect your child's teeth and save money don't miss out on CSI's Dental Clinic.

Students in the College of Southern Idaho’s dental assisting program will apply dental sealants for children next weekend.

The clinic, co-sponsored by South Central Public Health District, is from 9 a.m. to noon June 29 at CSI’s health science building on North College Road. Students will apply sealants for children ages 6 to 14.

Sealants are a simple and effective way to prevent the most common type of tooth decay in molars.

Parents are urged to make an appointment to have their children’s teeth sealed. The cost is $5 per quadrant with a maximum cost of $20.

All services are provided by the CSI dental assisting students, supervised by a dentist.
