It is Now Time to Change Your Clocks in ID, WA, and UT
Since the time changed in November, many have been anticipating when the clocks would change again. It is not because people are excited about the change, but because the extra daylight is much appreciated, especially in the Northwest, and because once the clocks change, it is done for many months. While it may seem earlier this year than usual, that is not the case, but the time is finally here to change your clocks. Make sure to change your clocks, because not doing so could make you late to church, work, or school moving forward.
When is Daylight Saving in Idaho, Washington, and Utah?
The time change is taking place this weekend, happening on Sunday, March 9 at 2 AM. Make sure before going to bed on Saturday night that you change the clocks in your vehicles, on your stove or microwave, and any clocks you have around the house that will not automatically update. The good news is that the watches and clocks that people use most often, such as smartwatches, phones, computers, and televisions all automatically update these days, making the task of changing clocks much easier. The bad news is, that this does not help when it comes to adjusting your body and mind with sleep.
Time Change in Utah, Idaho, and Washington
Demand has been high for years to stop the time change, as many hate adapting their sleeping schedule, especially for those who have kids. It often takes days or perhaps a week or two to get used to the time change. It can also make it tough for those with kids because trying to convince a child to go to bed when the sun is still up is not easy. There have been discussions about eliminating the time change, but for now, it still exists, unless you live in Hawaii or Arizona. With the new regime in the White House, many hope that the time change could finally be abolished, but until it does residents in Idaho, Washington, and Utah will continue to change their clocks twice a year. With this weekend marking the first of the year, the question now is how long until time will fall back. Enjoy Daylight Saving Time, as the clock won't need to be changed again until November.

Make sure to set a reminder for your clocks this weekend, but if you do forget, the good news is that your phone, watch, or computer should serve as a reminder when you wake up on Sunday and realize your clocks around the house don't match. Make time to take a nap this Sunday, to help adjust your sleep schedule so the work week won't be too tough this time around.
