What Would You Do? Being Chased By a Turkey in Idaho
What would you do? What would you do if you were chased, attacked, and bullied by a wild turkey, and it was all caught on camera? Would you hide from embarrassment? Would you share the video and let the world share? Would you deny it and try to destroy the evidence? Would you have run and hid from the turkey? Would you have tried to kill it and make it into a delicious meal? This may seem like a bizarre situation, but turkeys are known to be mean and aggressive animals, and there are wild ones in Idaho. If a wild turkey tried to come after you, what would you do?
Wild Turkey Attacks Man in New York Driveway
Recently, a video went viral of a New York man being attacked by a wild turkey in his driveway and it was all caught on camera. The man is seen running around the car with his arms full as the turkey aggressively keeps pursuing him around the vehicle. He could have gotten in the vehicle, gone back home, or tried to attack the turkey, but chose none of those logical options. Luckily, it was all caught on camera for the entertainment of everyone in the world to see, but would you be embarrassed and try to hide the video if this were you in this man's situation?
Wild Turkey Attacks in Idaho
While most think of wild turkeys in the fall as Thanksgiving gets closer, they are out and about year-round and can be aggressive if they feel threatened or are in a bad mood. Most in Idaho would likely say they would kill it if it attacked them and claim self-defense if anyone asked, or would keep it a secret and eat it without any evidence left behind. If one were to come into town, though, pulling a trigger isn't an option, as you could hit something or someone. Would you become the aggressor and try to scare it off, grab it, or take control of the situation, or would you get to a safe place until it leaves? If caught on a camera, would you dispose of it or hope for a viral video and news story like the man above?

If you ever find yourself in this unique situation, make sure to have a plan, and also hope that there are no cameras around to avoid any embarrassment or proof of what happened. If you found yourself being harassed by a turkey, what would you do?
