WATCH: Ski Lift Fear in Idaho Realized by Going Backwards
During the winter in Idaho, there are many fun things to enjoy. There is tubing, sledding, playing in the snow, hockey, ice fishing, and of course skiing and snowboarding. When enjoying skiing and snowboarding there is plenty that goes into it, like equipment, where to go, and riding the lifts. For some riding the lifts is fun and one of the most enjoyable parts of hitting the slopes, and for others it is terrifying, especially thinking of things that can go wrong. In another country, one ski lift malfunctioned, going backward and the result was terrifying, with it all being caught on camera.
Ski Lift Goes Backwards in Country of Georgia
A few years ago in the country of Georgia, a ski lift malfunctioned and began going backwards. The results ended with people being flung from the lift, some falling in the ruble of the chairs, and ultimately the lift piling up chair after chair until being shut down. It was a scary moment caught on camera, which you can watch in the video above. The miraculous part is that everyone involved survived, despite ten being injured in the process. While this happened in another country, for many in the Gem State, this is their worst fear whenever they decide to hit the slopes. The moment could have been worse, but thank goodness it wasn't.
Chair Lifts Malfunctioning in Idaho
For anyone going skiing or snowboarding in Idaho, there are many concerns. One could fall and break something, someone could lose control and go over a cliff, or perhaps the ski lift does what happened in the video above. If a moment like this occurs, it is best to jump off, as seen above it saved many from getting injured. While landing in the snow could hurt a little, the pain will be far less than staying on the lift. There are old lifts in Idaho that haven't been repaired in many years and the fear of getting stuck or something like what is seen above occurring is a real possibility.

As residents in the Gem State continue to go skiing and snowboarding throughout winter, hopefully, nobody experiences what Georgia had to endure with their ski lift from a few years ago. Check out the videos above to see how scary the moment could be if something ever does go wrong with the ski lift when on the slopes.
