What would you do? What would you do if you had a pet you loved as much as your children, and was your best friend, but it attacked one of your kids, a family member, or a friend? Perhaps the animal is your best friend and your comfort or emotional support, but is a hazard to others. Having an animal that can harm others around isn't a good idea, but if you love the animal and find it to be loving towards you, how do you handle the situation? The best option and situation is that the aggression isn't too severe, that it is a one-off situation and things remain normal, but that is rolling the dice and not a guarantee. It is a moment that no pet owner ever hopes to deal with, but one that many fear. You raise your pet to be loving, and caring, but also a protector, and when they do that, it is hard to get mad. They were doing what they thought they needed to.
