Enjoy These 13 Events This Fall Weekend in the Magic Valley

October is flying by and is already half over. Most of the focus this month is on Halloween. Setting up decorations, getting costumes for the kids or yourself, buying candy, and attending trunk-or-treats. There is a lot to do this time of year, and that doesn't even include watching and playing football as well. October is a busy month, and that includes events taking place around the Magic Valley and lots of fun activities to do. This weekend will be packed with plenty of fun events around the Magic Valley, and you won't want to miss out on the fun.

Saturday, October 18 - Glow and Gratitude Event at Whiskey Tanning

Do you enjoy looking nice and tan all year round? Living in Idaho, we can't always lie outside, but you can have nice bronze skin. Make sure to stop by the Glow and Gratitude Event at Whiskey Tanning, located at 1182 Eastland in Twin Falls, this Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM. There will be food from noon to 2 PM, giveaways, discounts, and much more. You could win some awesome things and get to meet the friendly staff. Thursday, October 16 & Saturday, October 18 - CSI Women's Soccer

The season is nearing the end, and the final two home games for the CSI women's soccer team this season will be played this weekend. The women are currently 6-2-3 on the season and will look to close out their final home games with a couple of wins. The women will be in action on Thursday and Saturday in Jerome. The game on Thursday will be at 1 PM against Salt Lake Community College, and the game on Saturday will be at 11 AM against Colorado Northwestern Community College. Thursday, October 16, Through Saturday, October 18 - Tubbs Berry Farm

If you haven't been to Tubbs Berry Farm yet this season, you are missing out. It is packed full of fun things to do for the whole family. You can slide down multiple giant slides, fun for all ages. Your little ones can play in the little kids' area, or you can play basketball, life-size foosball, soccer billiards, jump on the jump pad, and of course, get lost in the hay maze shaped like a duck, or shoot the apple blasters. Thursday, October 16 & Saturday, October 18 - CSI Men's Soccer

The CSI men's soccer team will also be in action this weekend for its final two home games of the year. They are currently 7-5-1 and will look to get a couple of victories this weekend. They, too, will be playing on Thursday and Saturday. The game on Thursday will be at 3:30 PM and will be against Salt Lake Community College, and the game on Saturday will be at 1:30 PM against Colorado Northwestern Community College. Thursday, October 16 - Ladies Night Out: Tough Enough to Wear Pink

We all know someone who has fought cancer, is fighting it, or sadly lost their life. The key is to get tested often and to catch it early. October is breast cancer awareness month, and the women of Tough Enough to Wear Pink will be holding an event for ladies to get out and have some fun and to bond. Ladies Night Out will be happening on Thursday at the Twin Falls County Fairgrounds, with doors opening at 4 PM and dinner being at 6 PM. Thursday, October 16 - Saturday, October 18 - Wilson Wizarding Experience

Do you enjoy Harry Potter? Do you want to know what it is like to go to Hogwarts? Don't miss the annual Wilson Wizarding Experience this weekend at the Historic Wilson Theatre in Rupert. You can become a wizard or witch as you experience the sorting hat, looking for hidden items throughout the school, getting your own wand, and much more. There are four sessions throughout the weekend, with one on Thursday at 6 PM, one on Friday at 6 PM, and two on Saturday, with one at noon and the last one at 6 PM. Thursday, October 16, Through Sunday, October 19 -  'Sweeney Todd'

With fall weather being unpredictable in Idaho, it is always good to have some indoor plans in case it rains, is cold, or even snows. The theatre is a great place to go to find entertainment and stay indoors. This weekend, the Orpheum Theatre will be performing 'Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street'. If you like being scared or want to see your friends or family scared, make sure to take them to The Haunted Swamp this weekend. Friday, October 17 - Comedy Night at Lamphouse Theatre

We could all use a laugh, especially after a long week at work, and with the gloom and rain all week. They say laughter is the best medicine, and what better way to spend a Friday night than attending a comedy show? That special day is this Saturday. Kiddie Day at The Haunted Swamp will be on Saturday from 11 AM to 3 PM and is perfect for little kids to come and get candy, have fun, play games, and jump on the jump pad.
