The Magic Valley has seen many businesses close throughout the years. The good news is that many new places have moved in to replace them but it doesn't always take the sting away. While some have moved to the Magic Valley never knowing what was once here, others have had to accept their losses and welcome new additions. As the phrase goes, 'you don't know what you had until it is gone,' rings true with some of the companies that have left through the years. If possible, could the Magic Valley find a way to welcome some of these former residents back and have them once again call Twin Falls home, so we can enjoy eating and shopping at them?

Macy's in Twin Falls

The popular department store once called Twin Falls home, but has been gone for some time now. While there are still some good options, Macy's offers various clothing, accessories, and even Toys R' Us. Having Macy's return would be a great addition to Twin Falls and would make the Magic Valley Mall more appealing than it already is. Not too many would be sad to see them return.

Emri Rose in Twin Falls

Emri Rose wasn't in Twin Falls long, but it was a local store offering something that Twin Falls needs more of. Once located in the center of the Magic Valley Mall, this store had baby and children's clothes and offered some unique options that you don't see elsewhere in the area. If this store could return, new parents would appreciate it as well as the children that get to enjoy the clothes.

Popeye's In Twin Falls

Popeye's has had a few chances in Twin Falls, but sadly none of them have ended well. Could one more chance go differently, or would it turn out the same? Many in the area have turned against the popular chain because of how things have gone, but with many new residents in the area, one more go could be what Popeye's needs. They offer delicious sandwiches, biscuits, and sides. Bring back Popeye's for one more try.

Victoria's Secret in Twin Falls

There aren't many places for women to shop for lingerie in Twin Falls, and many women hate that they have to drive to Salt Lake City or Boise to shop for underwear, perfume, and lingerie. Bringing the store back would save women a lot of driving in the Magic Valley, or let them see the products in person, instead of having to order them online without knowing how they feel and look. Victoria's Secret would gladly be welcomed back to the Magic Valley Mall.

Golden Corral in Twin Falls

While it hasn't been gone long, in the long term, Golden Corral is going to be missed. There aren't many buffet options in Twin Falls and there was always a decent crowd with a great location. Golden Carrol was the answer in Twin Falls when you couldn't decide where to eat, so you wanted a buffet to please everyone. There is speculation that perhaps Golden Carrol isn't gone for good, but until it pops back up, we will wait for a return.

Bed Bath & Beyond in Twin Falls

Bed Bath & Beyond closed a couple of years ago, and for some, this is news to them, as they didn't shop there often, but for others, it was a major loss in the Magic Valley. While there are places to go to get towels, bedding, and other things around the house, Bed Bath and Beyond offered one of the best selections and was always a fun store to browse through. It is highly unlikely that they ever return, but one can dream.

Boomerang Coffee in Twin Falls

Boomerang Coffee had a short stint in Twin Falls, but it was a local coffee shop and had an ideal location on Cheney Drive across from the high school, down the street from the hospital, and in front of Walmart. It seemed like an ideal place to get a coffee, an energy drink, or a snack when running errands, picking up or dropping off your child at school, or when visiting someone at the hospital. Sadly, they closed last year and the building is still vacant as of this writing. Perhaps someone will revive the coffee shop, but for now, we wait to see what will take over the building.

While many of these places will never call the Magic Valley home again, there is hope that perhaps one or two could return in time. If the demand is high enough, they will not be able to resist coming back. The more Twin Falls grows, the more appealing it comes as a location for some of these businesses, and the more likely they are to give the Magic Valley another chance. What stores that have left would you like to see return?
