When Will Empty Building in Magic Valley be Filled or Knocked Down?

Over the last few years, many places have been moving in and out of the Magic Valley. Some new franchises have moved in, and some new local places have decided to try their hand in the Magic Valley. Sadly, some of these places do not succeed and for different reasons, many have closed through the last couple of years. Typically, when one of these places closes, something new moves in within a few weeks or months, but in some occurrences, the building will be knocked down or sit empty for a while. One building has been sitting open for over a year in Twin Falls, and many are left wondering what will move in or when the store will be knocked down.

Boomerang Coffee Building Empty in Twin Falls

Boomerang Coffee opened in March of 2022 in Twin Falls, with the store being located in front of Walmart at 334 Cheney Drive. They offered drinks, and food, and had great service, but sadly announced they had closed on October 16, 2023, lasting just over 18 months. It has now been over a year since the store closed, yet the building remains untouched and unused. With a prime location, a drive-thru, and plenty in place for a food business to move in, why has nothing moved into this empty building over all this time? 

What Will Move into Old Boomerang Coffee?

With the building being empty, some may wonder why not knock it down, but it is relatively new, and it is attached to Capriotti's, who would not appreciate their business being destroyed. With a prime location, why hasn't anything moved in yet? The area has grown quickly with the addition of multiple eating options in the last couple of years, making competition tough. When something does move in though, what would be a good addition? With a drive-thru window, another eating option makes the most sense. What would you like to see move into this empty building?

For now, the building remains empty, and who knows for how much longer. The signs remain up, and it gives loyal customers hope that one day perhaps Boomerang Coffee will return, but for most, we sit and wait to see what will fill this empty building. The more time goes by the more anticipation will grow on what could fill this vacant place, but until there is any sign of movement, we will all continue to wait.
