Know Which Gift Cards to Buy for the Holidays in Idaho this Year
When it comes to picking gifts for your friends and family, some may be easier than others. For certain people, you know exactly what to get them and it takes little to no effort. Every person seems to have that one family member or friend who is tough to shop for and you can never find a gift you think they will enjoy. It is common to end up getting them a gift card, or perhaps you prefer to give gift cards to coworkers or as stocking stuffers. When it comes to picking the right gift card though, it isn't as simple as some make it out to be. Certain ones are better than others, based on discounts at the stores and the value of the items, so which gift cards are the best to give this holiday season?
The Best and Worst Gift Cards for the Holidays
WalletHub recently released a list of the best gift cards to get this holiday season, and when it comes to deciding which is the best, they used a few categories to help such as popularity, shipping fees, average buyer discount, average resale value, and retailer rating. By using these main categories, it was determined that the best gift card to get someone this year is an Amazon gift card, followed by Walmart and Chick-Fil-A to round out the top three. Out of 50 possible gift cards, it was determined that Kroger is the worst gift card to get somebody, with Mastercard and Etsy rounding out the bottom three.
Gift Cards as Gifts in Twin Falls
Living in Twin Falls, gift cards make for a good gift, because even though the store may not be in town, online shopping allows somebody to shop at a store they can't go to from their own home. If somebody you know loves Macy's or Victoria's Secret but doesn't want to drive to browse, getting them a gift card will either encourage them to go or jump online to shop, knowing it is covered by the gift card. While it may seem like a boring gift sometimes, it can often be the way to go. If you receive a gift card, make sure to look for the best deals possible, so you can get as much as you can out of that free money you were gifted.
If you are struggling this year with what to buy that certain family member, friend, or coworker, don't stress and look at getting them a gift card, but make sure you click the link above and do your research, to help them get the best deal possible. Good luck in your holiday shopping endeavors and make sure to do your research for both you and those receiving your gifts. Happy holidays.
