It's Valentines Day! I try not to like this holiday because I truly do believe it is a "Hallmark holiday." But yesterday I had so much fun at my kid's Valentines parties I may be changing my mind about Valentines Day. That being said, I've come up with a list of things your sweetie wants for Valentine's Day and a list of things she DOESN'T want.

Awe birthday parties. My kids love it when we are invited to birthday celebrations, they get to play and eat cake. I am able to catch up with my friends and celebrate a child's life. Birthday parties are great! The only thing that can be difficult about a birthday is getting the perfect gift.

Spending money during the holidays is something all couples discuss. The discussion often ends up resulting in not buying gifts for each other and spending the "holiday budget" on the kids. Don't get me wrong I think Easter is an important Holiday, and everyone in our community seems to be very involved in Easter activities. But I think we go over board with gifts on Holidays like Valentines Day and Easter. My kids were truly a little disappointing this Valentines Day because all they received was chocolate when all of their friends received some sort of video game or toy.

Throughout the day yesterday my phone kept lighting up with messages from friends and family.
