McDonald’s Buffet Coming to the Gem State?
Everyone loves a buffet. It is nice to take the family out to eat and not have to argue over Italian, Mexican, Chinese, or American food. Once you decide that, then the argument continues between tacos, pizza, hamburgers, and it can all be settled by going to a buffet. Everyone can have what they want, and the hungrier you are, the better, as you can eat as much as your stomach can handle. There are some places known for their buffets, but one place that isn't is McDonald's. How would you feel if McDonald's began having a buffet and you could have unlimited nuggets, hamburgers, and French fries? It could happen in Idaho someday.
McDonald's Buffet in Branson, Missouri
Have you heard the rumors? McDonald's opened a buffet in Branson, Missouri. That is what the news on the internet says, but sadly, it was a social media hoax and isn't real. Did you get excited as I did reading that sentence, though? According to the story, McDonald's opened a buffet serving French fries, apple pies, Quarter Pounders, Big Macs, McNuggets, and it was unlimited for $12.99. The story said that lines went out the door and plates piled up. While it is disappointing to find out this story isn't true, what if it were? How would a buffet at McDonald's go over in Idaho? Would you run to the nearest one and pile up a tray of food? What would you eat the most of?
McDonald's Buffet in Idaho
The thought of a buffet at McDonald's is a reason to get many excited. For the price listed above, it is the cheapest eating option in today's economy, and would be an affordable way to feed the family. The negative is that it wouldn't be the healthiest option and could, for under $13, lead to more health issues, obesity, and hurt the younger generation moving forward. While stuffing your face with fries, nuggets, and Big Macs would be nice from time to time, the repercussions of what it would do to those who eat McDonald's regularly would be devastating. Not to mention, a buffet at McDonald's would cost them significantly financially and likely lead to the closure of multiple McDonald's locations. While foot traffic would be heavy, the dollars coming in would be significantly less.

While it is nice to dream of, it likely won't happen anytime soon. If McDonald's does see the post and decides to give it a try, though, hopefully, other stores, like the ones in Idaho, would follow and add the buffet as an option. Do you like the idea of a McDonald's buffet? Would you support and eat there more?
