Opinion: New Drama Series is Terrible and Pits Montana Against Idaho
Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan is at it again. He's gone from writing scripts that put Californians on blast to now waging an all-out war between Montana and Idaho. His new series, Marshals, is dreadful, and Sheridan might want to scale back some of his projects for the sake of creativity.
I'll admit it. The first three seasons of Yellowstone were really good. Then, the same beefs between Montana cattle ranchers, casino owners, small-town drug dealers, and the local Native American community just got too redundant and silly. Sheridan is also the main producer and co-writer of shows such as Tulsa King, Landman, 1883, and 1923.

New Drama Series About U.S. Marshals In Montana Is Painful To Sit Through
If you've been trying to find time to watch the new Paramount series Marshals, don't bother. As a massive fan of Sheridan's series Landman and someone who has watched his other shows, Marshals is hands-down the worst thing this dude has put out. The characters are ridiculous, the acting is horrible--led by Luke Grimes of Yellowstone fame--and the plot appears to be just one over-the-top shootout after another.

So far in season one of the show, the U.S. Marshals are involved in a war against drug dealers and white supremacists of northern Idaho. Millions of rounds of ammunition were fired in episode two alone, and somehow, the very attractive Montana law enforcement squad manages to dodge them all.
The new show's storyline features gun battles, followed by trips to the local bar. If you have plans on continuing to watch Marshals, then Godspeed, but I'm out.
