The couple lived on North Parks Road outside Pocatello when Thomas was found deceased on September 3, 2000, according to details shared by Idaho Cold Cases. Sherwood was well-liked, so much so that the company he worked for in Idaho Falls has held a memorial golf tournament in his honor since his death.

The scene was determined to be staged to look like Sherwood committed suicide, according to the ICC Meta page. What the individual responsible for his death didn't consider is that one shot would have done the job.
