When the topic of Craigslist comes up, most people are split on the efficacy of the classified ad website that's available in most communities across the country. While Meta (Facebook) Marketplace has grown in popularity for people looking for local goods and services, there are those who still navigate Craigslist in search of free items, potential roommates, and romance.

I haven't personally been on Craigslist in years. There was a time when I was afraid to click on the site because I wanted to avoid giving my laptop a sexually transmitted disease; I swear I smelled a hint of vanilla body lotion and sweat last time I attempted to log on.

In all seriousness, Craigslist is still going strong. Users can still access the southern Idaho page to do things like re-home dogs, sell or give away furniture, discuss religion, hire a wedding deejay, look for employment, or try to contact someone for intimacy they saw while standing in line at Arby's.

'You’ve never arranged to meet a man named “Tank” behind an abandoned gas station, or in a dark alley at 2:47 AM for a “lightly used” item that was just listed seconds ago,' read a portion of the post.

I've met 'Tank,' by the way. He's a pretty solid dude. Not in the way you think I mean solid, but, well...nevermind.

Just be careful when navigating Craigslist is the lesson I believe the department was trying to pass along.
