WATCH: Twin Falls ID Taxi Driver Shot Aug 1 Gives Health Update

A cab driver who was shot twice in the back during the August 1 rampage by a 24-year-old former College of Southern Idaho dropout just gave an update from his hospital bed and has thanked the community for its love and support.

Terry Dudley is alive and recovering from gunshot wounds he sustained during the mass shooting that happened on August 1, 2026, at the Twin Falls In-N-Out and visitor center. Three people lost their lives that afternoon and seven others were injured, including Dudley.

Dudley, with hospital tubes helping him breath, appeared in a great deal of discomfort as he thanked those who have reached out to him and donated money toward his recovery.

Dudley has a GoFundMe page that has raised over $38,000 to date, and more help would be greatly appreciated after what will be a multiple months stay in the hospital. Dudley is an employee of North Star Taxi and was working the day he and many others were shot.
