Jason Aldean “Thanks” and “Appreciates” Everyone

JASON ALDEAN must be tired of answering questions about "getting caught" with former "American Idol" contestant BRITTANY KERR.  Unfortunately, they're not going to stop.

The issue came up in an interview with "CMT Insider" . . . and Jason faced up to it.  He said, quote, "You can go hide and run from it, or you can get up and face it and deal with it.  And that's kind of what we tried to do and just kind of move on."

Jason is mostly thankful for the people who didn't rush to judgment.  He says, quote, "[For] the people that know me and know what I'm about . . . the people that are standing by us and supporting us, all I've got to say to them is thanks.

"I mean, I really appreciate it, and it's just been a really unfortunate thing.  Really embarrassing, I think, more than anything."

It also looks like Jason's marriage might survive his foolishness.  He adds, quote, "The main thing is that me and my family are okay, and everything's good there.  So I think it's been a tough deal.

"But I kind of said what I needed to say to them and, hopefully, they understand that.  And the rest of it will be us dealing with it in private and trying to fix it.  It's good, though.  So for everybody that stood by us, I appreciate it."
