Local Star Alyssa Mendoza Heads to Paris for Olympic Training

Idaho's Alyssa Mendoza is about to embark on a life-changing journey as she prepares for the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris. On Friday, June 7, Alyssa and her family will receive a special escort from the Caldwell Police Department to the Boise Airport, marking the start of her exciting adventure.

A Hero's Send-Off

At the early hour of 3:45 a.m., officers will meet Alyssa and her family at the Purple Sage Golf Course. From there, they'll provide an interstate escort to the Boise Airport, ensuring a smooth and celebratory send-off. The convoy is expected to arrive at the airport around 4:30 a.m., where media representatives are invited to capture this heartfelt moment and share it with the community.
