9 Fun Events this September Weekend in the Magic Valley
The weeks are going to begin dragging on as summer is over and we transition into fall. The days of being by the pool, being at the lake, and enjoying summer activities are gone, and now we begin to look into having some autumn fun. No matter what time of year it is though, everyone deserves to have some fun on the weekends to take their mind off work and enjoy some of the fun events that occur in the Magic Valley. Here is what is happening this weekend to help you get out of the house, have some fun, and stop you from wasting your days off.
Thursday, September 12 - Taste of Kneaders
For those who enjoy food and especially like going to Kneaders, you are not going to want to miss this event. Taste of Kneaders is happening Thursday beginning at 6 PM and costs $15 per person. It will involve learning about Kneaders and also tasting their bread, jams, cider, dips, popcorn, and much more. Kneaders is located at 1575 Washington in Twin Falls. Thursday, September 12 Through Saturday, September 14 - Monster Bounce
If you want to get out and have some fun, no matter with kids or as an adult, you have to check out Monster Bounce while it is in Twin Falls. The massive bounce town is in the Magic Valley Mall parking lot and is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday this weekend. A session costs $12 and sessions begin at 5 PM on Thursday and Friday, with the last session beginning at 8 PM. On Saturday, the first session is at 9 AM with the last session being at 8 PM. Thursday, September 12 - Sunday, September 15 - Monty Python's 'Spamalot'
Sometimes the best way to spend a weekend is in the theatre, and this weekend you have the chance to laugh and be entertained. Thursday through Sunday Monty Python's 'Spamalot' will be taking place at the Orpheum Theatre in Twin Falls. Showtimes are at 7 PM Thursday through Saturday and at 2 PM on Sunday. Friday, September 13 - Costaki Economopoulos
After a tough week at work, nothing beats a drink, some good food, and a laugh. You can get all three this Friday at the Canyon Crest Event Center. Comedian Costaki Economopoulos will be performing this Friday, and tickets are still available. You can get tickets for $20 online and in advance, or pay $25 at the door. Saturday, September 14 - Craft Fair
For all those in the Magic Valley who enjoy crafts, make sure to get out to the craft fair happening this weekend. The craft fair will be held on Saturday at Pebble Ponds Golf Course, located at 4039 N 2300 E in Filer. The show will be from 10 AM to 5 PM. Saturday, September 14, and Sunday, September 15 - Fall Outdoor Vendor Show
The Magic Valley is the best when it comes to putting on vendor shows, and this weekend marks one you won't want to miss. The Fall Outdoor Vendor Show will be happening this Saturday and Sunday at The Mountain View Barn, located at 392 E 300 S in Jerome. The show will be from 9 AM to 4 PM on Saturday, and from 10 AM to 3 PM on Sunday. There will be jewelry, custom Western hats, clothing, antiques, pet items, and much more. Make sure to bring the whole family, as there will be a free petting zoo, a free bounce house, food trucks, and much more. Admission to the event is free. Saturday, September 14 - Feels Goode Mazda Car and Motorcycle Show
With it expected to be a beautiful weekend weather-wise, why not get out and show off your car or enjoy some of the best cars in the Magic Valley? The 2nd annual Feels Goode Mazda Car and Motorcycle Show is happening this Saturday from 10 AM to 3 PM at Goode Motor Mazda, located at 2285 Kimberly Rd in Twin Falls. If you would like to enter your car or motorcycle you can call Goode Motor Mazda, but even if you don't enter, stop by. They will be having discounts, drinks, food, and free swag. Saturday, September 14 - Cars for Dilly
This weekend is a great weekend for car lovers, and this show will have a lot to offer and be for a good cause. Last year Dylan Wormsbaker lost his life in a motorcycle accident, and this event is to help raise money for the kids he left behind. Cars for Dilly will be happening Saturday at Legacy Fields located at 21236 HWY 30 and will be from noon to 6 PM. There will be trophies for motorcycles, trucks, and cars, but also a food truck, a DJ, raffles, prizes, a bounce house for the kids, and much more. Sunday, September 15 - Hagerman Farmer's Market
As the middle of September approaches, it means time to get out to a local farmer's market is coming to an end soon. Make sure to catch the Hagerman Farmer's Market before it is gone for the season. The market takes place on Sunday from 9 AM to 2 PM and is located at 18049 HWY 30 in Hagerman. They have vendors, live music, food, produce, clothing, and much more. The weather should be perfect, and there is no reason to be stuck inside or bored this weekend.
