Guy Talk

My husband is usually pretty sweet unless he is hanging out with his friends. If he is "watching the game" or in a vehicle with his buddies it becomes very difficult for him to say things that he would normally say. For example...if I am talking to him on the phone and I tell him I love him he will respond with something like, "right on" if he is around his friends. If he isn't around friends he will respond by telling me he loves me too and is excited to see me. This is something that I don't understand because when I am around my friends I would like to think that I talk to my husband in the same tone.
