Get Out to These 8 Events This Memorial Day Weekend in the Magic Valley

After months of waiting, it is finally here. That three-day weekend is much needed to rest, relax, have some fun, and maybe get some things done around the house. It is the unofficial start of summer and many are excited to celebrate Memorial Day this weekend. While getting rest and things done around the house is nice, this is a great weekend to get out and have fun. Friday, May 23 - Comedy Night at Lamphouse Theater

Who doesn't enjoy a night out having a drink and having a good laugh? This Friday will be Comedy Night at Lamphouse Theater in Twin Falls, with comedians Mundek, Frank Gonzales, and Reilly Hoy. Saturday, May 24 - 5th Annual 22 Jumps

Memorial Day is taking place this weekend, and an event has become a tradition over the last few years for the holiday weekend. The 5th annual 22 Jumps will be taking place this Saturday beginning at 6:30 in the morning. This year three different individuals will be making the jumps as they will all BASE jump off of the Perrine Bridge 22 times in 24 hours. Saturday, May 24 - Buhl Color Run

Have you ever done a 5K before? Have you always wanted to? This weekend the Buhl Color Run will be happening on Saturday, with registration being at 9 AM and the run beginning at 10 AM. If you want to participate, early sign-in ends at 6 AM on Saturday, which is $30, or you can pay $35 the morning of. The run and registration will be taking place at 618 Poplar Street in Buhl. Saturday, May 24 - Magic Valley Card Show

Are you someone who enjoys collecting cards? Maybe you are someone who has basketball, baseball, or football cards. Do you enjoy collecting Pokemon cards, or do you have a child that does? This weekend don't miss the Magic Valley Card Show at the Twin Falls County Fairgrounds in Filer this Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM. Saturday, May 24 - Bustle Bridal Boutique

Summer is a popular time to get married, and a holiday weekend is a great time to get some wedding planning done. If you are a bride or a mom of a bride and are still looking for that dress, this weekend is a great opportunity to find it. The Bustle Bridal Boutique will be taking place this Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM at Stone House and Co in Twin Falls, located at 330 4th Avenue South. It is $20 for a reservation and that amount will be applied to your dress if you find the one you want. You can try on dresses you won't find anywhere else in Idaho. Saturday, May 24 - Movie Matinee

Going to the movies is a great way to spend a holiday weekend as many movies typically come out around the holidays. While seeing the newest and biggest movie is nice, for some it is a little too pricey. He has performed with legends such as Dave Chappelle, Jimmy Fallon, and Kevin Hart, and will be performing at 7 PM this Saturday.
