Have Fun at These 7 Fun Events in the Magic Valley This January Weekend

The first full week back to work for many has been rough. The week has gone by slowly for many, and the weekend can not get here fast enough. A couple of days off of work can always be enjoyable, but what makes a weekend even better is going out to some fun activities or events. This weekend will be the second weekend of the year, and there are many events to enjoy in the Magic Valley to have some fun.

Friday, January 10 & Saturday, January 11 - Bridal & Party Expo

If you are getting married this year or soon, then gather up your bridal party, your mom, or go alone to the Bridal & Party Expo happening this Friday and Saturday. The expo will be taking place at The Gaslamp Event Center this year and will be happening on Friday from 5 PM to 9 PM and on Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM. Saturday, January 11 - Colorful Cows in Water Color

For those looking to expand their artistic skills in 2025 and take some art classes, the first Saturday of every month is the best time to do so. The Magic Valley Arts Council offers classes every month and this weekend they will have Colorful Cows in Water Color. The class will be on Saturday from 10 AM to Noon and will cost $15 for council members and $25 for non-members. This class is for those who are 14 and up and will take place in the 2nd-floor classroom at the Magic Valley Arts Council. Saturday, January 11 - President Piggie's Inauguration Party

Who doesn't enjoy a party? This weekend gather your children and head to the Twin Falls Public Library for President Piggie's Inauguration Party. Saturday, January 11 - CSI Women's Basketball

With the cold weather making its way to the Magic Valley this weekend, being indoors is a good idea. To get out and stay warm, while having fun, make sure to check out the CSI Women's basketball team this weekend. They will take their 14-3 record and 4-game winning streak into a match-up against Colorado Northwestern Community College this Saturday. The game will be at 1 PM. After watching the women's team play, stick around and cheer on the CSI Men's basketball team, as they too will be taking on Colorado Northwestern Community College. Their game will be at 3 PM. Saturday, January 11 - Movie Matinee

Going to the movies is always a fun time for the family, but with the cost of movies going up, it can be too pricey for some. If you want to get out of the house and enjoy a flick without breaking the bank, make sure to go to the Twin Falls Public Library this Saturday at 3 PM for Movie Matinee. Saturday, January 11 - Southern Idaho Bull Bash

Rodeos are a major part of living in Idaho and this weekend is one that makes for a great time for the family to get out and enjoy one of the first rodeos of the year. The Southern Idaho Bull Bash is happening this Saturday at the CSI Expo Center on the CSI campus. The event will begin at 7 PM.
