7 Events to Have Fun in the Magic Valley the Final Weekend of January
The weather has finally warmed up, the snow has melted and it is possible to get out of the house once again. Odds are you have been stuck inside far too much this month and are itching to get outside. Friday, January 26, and Saturday, January 27 - 'Beauty and the Beast Jr'
One of the best ways to get out of the house but to stay warm in the winter in Twin Falls is to attend a musical or a play at the Orpheum Theatre. This weekend 'Beauty and the Beast Junior' will be performed on Friday and Saturday. The show on Friday will be at 7 PM, with two shows on Saturday, with the first being at 2 PM and the second being at 7 PM. Tickets are on sale and start at $15. Saturday, January 27 - Confidence and Self-Defense for the Youth
Does your child lack confidence? Do they need to learn self-defense to be prepared for a scary situation? There is a class this weekend in Rupert at the Historic Wilson Theatre offering Confidence and Self-Defense for the Youth. This class is intended for children aged 8 to 15 and admission to the class is $35. All proceeds go towards a good cause, which is Simply Hope, a nonprofit that offers a community center for the youth. The class begins at 10 AM and will last until around 11:30 AM. Saturday, January 27 - Family Lego Build
The Twin Falls Public Library is always putting on events for free for both children and adults, and there is one this weekend that will be fun for all ages you won't want to miss. Getting your kids out of the house is a must in the winter and what better way than taking them to the library and playing with their massive Lego collection during Family Lego Build from 11 AM to 1 PM?
