8 Fun Events the Final Weekend of July in the Magic Valley

Another month is coming to an end, but so is another week, and the summer is continuing to fly by. There aren't many weekends left until school starts up again, which is why each one is precious and should be spent creating memories, having fun, and attending some incredible summer events. This weekend will be the final one in July, and it will be filled with plenty of events to get you out of the house and have fun. Here are a few things to do this weekend in the Magic Valley.

Thursday, July 25 - Business After Hours Block Party

After a long day at work, sometimes it is nice to go out and have fun at a party with some friends and neighbors. This Thursday, July 25 there will be an After Business Hours Block Party happening at 5:30 PM at 1502 Locust St N in Twin Falls. The party will be held in the parking lot of the shopping center, and everyone is invited. If you need to relax a little bit after a hard day or week at work, this is the place to be. Thursday, July 25 Through Saturday, July 27 - 'The Lighting Thief'

With it being so warm this summer, sometimes it is nice to escape to a chilly theatre and enjoy a play. This weekend The Orpheum Theatre will be showing 'The Lightning Thief' and will be performed Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Showtimes will be at 7 PM on both Thursday and Friday and two shows on Saturday at 2 PM and 7 PM. Tickets are still available, starting as low as $17.50. Friday, July 26 Through Monday, July 29 - Paranormal Cirque

The circus is coming to town, but before you get excited and plan a day with the family, this isn't your normal circus. Paranormal Cirque is billed as an R-rated circus, and nobody under the age of 13 is permitted in, and anyone under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult. If you scare easy or cringe easily, this might not be the circus for you. It all starts on Friday and will run through Monday, with tickets ranging between $20 to $60. Saturday, July 27 - Cruzin the Canyon

There are many car enthusiasts in the Magic Valley, and if you are one of them, Wendell is the place to be this weekend. The 5th annual Cruzin the Canyon will be happening this Saturday in Wendell City Park and it all starts at 9 AM. Saturday, July 27 - Twin Falls Kids Market

Many in the Magic Valley prefer to shop and support local, and it doesn't get any more local than supporting the kids in the area. This weekend Twin Falls Kids Market will be happening in Twin Falls City Park on Saturday from 10 AM to 1 PM. This will be made up of kids aged 5 to 16 who started their own businesses and are a part of the vendor market. The event is free to attend, and you never know what you will find. Saturday, July 27 - 5th Annual Backpack Kickback

School will be back before you know it, and it is time to start preparing by getting supplies, not only for your children but also for children in need around the area. This Saturday the 5th annual Backpack Kickback will be happening from 11 AM to 3 PM at TF Brickhouse, located at 516 Hansen Street. Any donation helps and after you drop off your supplies you should stick around and enjoy music, Bearded Axe, face painting, a bounce house, dunk tank, and much more. Saturday, July 27 - Live Comedy Show

Sometimes after a long week, all you want to do is relax and have a good laugh. The perfect place to do so is at a stand-up comedy show, and this weekend there will be a Live Comedy Show happening at The Lamphouse Theater. Sunday, July 28 - Hagerman Farmer's Market

There are many farmer's markets that happen every weekend this time of year in the Magic Valley, but one of the most fun ones to attend has to be the Hagerman Farmer's Market which takes place on Sundays from 9 AM to 2 PM. This market has everything you need, such as live music, food, produce, vendors, clothing, art, and much more. You can make the beautiful drive out to Hagerman and find the market at 18049 Hwy 30.
