Crazy Ants Are Here and They Want to Eat Your Smartphone!

A species of ants nicknamed "crazy ants" are spreading across the U.S.  They're mostly found in Texas, Florida, Mississippi, and Louisiana but they are spreadding.

These ants love the taste of pretty much any type of electical equipment.  They chew through wires, which kills them but gives off a scent that attracts more of them for that suicide mission.  They'll tear through a transformers, laptops and even smartphones.

Regualr ant chemicals don't fight them off.  You need to have them exterminated by a pro if they show up.  ABC News has the full story
