Buhl Has Furry Adorable Residents Taking Over the Town
The wildlife in Idaho is beautiful, sometimes cute, sometimes dangerous, and can be delicious too. The wild animals in the area are a huge part of living in Idaho, and it is not uncommon to see some sort of beautiful creature every day. It doesn't take long to find out which animals are overpopulated and which ones are rare to see. It is common knowledge that rock chucks are everywhere and seem to take over certain parts of town, but there is another animal that is quickly taking over a town in Twin Falls county.
Does Buhl Have a Bunny Issue?
Since moving to Buhl, I have seen a good amount of bunnies in the area. A cat had a baby trapped one day and after rescuing it, the bunny has become a member of the family. In the months that have followed, we have seen more and more bunnies in the area, but these are not what most would think of when they think of a wild bunny. Most think of cottontails when they think of a wild bunny in their yard, but these are something much different.
Wild Bunnies Run Wild in Buhl
The bunnies that are constantly hopping around look to be bigger than the average cottontail, but what makes them unique is that they look like pet rabbits. Some are fully white, some are black, and others are a mixture of brown and black. Judging by the look of them, it appears that someone may have had pet rabbits that either escaped or were let go, and now they roam the neighborhoods of Buhl. They won't let people near them, but they are fun to look at. Hopefully, they stay out of sheds and don't chew on any cables or wires.
The next time you drive through Buhl, make sure to slow down so you don't accidentally hit a furry, adorable resident. If you live in Buhl, open your windows and enjoy watching these cute little creatures hop around your yard. As long as they don't chew on things they shouldn't and cost people money, then they are more than welcome to continue to provide entertainment and cuteness in the town of Buhl.
