COVID-19 numbers are back on the rise, and with it, NFL, NBA, and college sports teams are seeing the available players fluctuate day to day and week to week. Multiple bowl games have been canceled already this year due to the increase in numbers and lack of players available to play. Some games have found replacement teams and been able to salvage games, while others are fully canceled, thus ending the season for the teams in those games.

Boise State Will Not Play In The Arizona Bowl

The Boise State Broncos were scheduled to play in the Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl on Friday, December 31 against Central Michigan, but the game will no longer be taking place as the Boise State team has had too many positive COVID-19 cases and will be unable to play in the game. The Boise State Football Season Is Over

The Bronco's season is officially over now. They end the 2021 season with a 7-5 record and will look forward to the offseason as they begin to prepare for next season. For the seniors, it is heartbreaking that they won't get to take the field one more time and put on that Bronco jersey. For some, their careers are over while some will move on to expand their careers in the NFL or other leagues.
