America 250: National Park Fees Waived For Idaho Roadtrippers
The Fourth of July weekend looks different this year for many Idaho workers holding certain government jobs who have been granted July 3 through July 6 off.
National parks in the United States are typically busy over the Independence Day weekend, and this year, they should be even busier as fees will be waived Friday (July 3) through Sunday (July 5) in honor of our country's 250th anniversary.
If you've been considering bailing on your Fourth of July plans and jumping in the family vehicle for some time at one of our nation's amazing national parks, go gas up now and hit the road as soon as possible, because entrance is complimentary this weekend to celebrate the holiday.

Yellowstone National Park would be the obvious choice for those in southeastern Idaho this weekend. Arriving to such iconic landmarks as Old Faithful and Grand Prismatic Spring takes a short time for many in this region of the state. Biscuit Basin might still be closed following a recent, minor eruption.
Expect big crowds to be taking advantage of the government handout.
