Today, Rodeo Queen Mickenlie Baxter joined us talking about some events she's representing over the 4th of July holiday, including the "Days of the Old West Rodeo" in Hailey.

The New Hailey Rodeo Park is the place to be July 2nd, 3rd and 4th for the 66th annual "Days of the Old West Rodeo". This Rodeo has been voted Rodeo Of The Year, for nine consecutive years by the IMPRA Rodeo Association.

The action starts with slack at 9:00 AM the morning of July 2nd with the first performance at 7:30 P M that evening, second performance July 3rd at 7:30 P M and the final performance on July 4th at 7:30 P M.

Each night pre-rodeo entertainment starts at 6:30 P M with Queen Contestants Freestyle Reining Competition, Mutton Bust'en July 2nd and 3rd and Home Town Bull Riding on the 4th. There will also be a family of youth trick Riders for rodeo entertainment.

Rodeo events are The Grand Entry, Bareback riding, Steer Wrestling, Saddle Bronc Riding, Break Away Roping, Stock Saddle Bronc Riding, Rodeo Entertainment, Tie Down Roping, Ladies Barrel Racing, Team Roping and Bull Riding.

There will be food and drink in the concession stands hosted by the Lions and Kiwanis Clubs.
