When traveling to an unfamiliar location, I've always enjoyed sampling local brews, which I did on a recent trip to Salt Lake City. One pub we stopped into advertised the state's Polygamy Porter, a darker brew with notes of chocolate and caramel; the beer's tagline is hilariously "Why have just one?"
Wasatch Brewery makes the beer, with its flagship location in Park City, Utah. I'm not the biggest Porter fan, but it was quite good.
Sometimes unconventional and innovative tastes pretty darn good.
