One of Idaho's oldest active cold cases centers around two young girls who disappeared during a city celebration nearly half a century ago and were murdered and left in a remote area in a southeastern portion of the state. To date, no one has been served justice for these heinous crimes.

There are over 330 unsolved homicides in Idaho, according to Project Cold Case. Two of those cold case murders involved a pair of young girls and close friends--ages 12 and 14--who went missing on the evening of July 22, 1978.

The case of Patricia Campbell and Tina Anderson has been a dark cloud hanging over Pocatello for over 48 years. Perhaps you know the identity of the person(s) responsible for ending the lives of these two beloved daughters.

Following autopsies of the girls, police were able to determine the two were murdered. It's quite possible the bodies were dumped in the location they were discovered in 1981, the very same evening the girls disappeared. Their murderer would likely be in his/her late sixties to early seventies today, and might still be living in southeastern Idaho.
