There's no doubt that a mention of In-N-Out coming to Idaho creates excitement with burger lovers. And even though it doesn't look like Twin Falls will be getting its own restaurant anytime soon, the California-based chain just might be one step closer to locking in an Idaho location.

In-N-Out is considering a Meridian location

In-N-Out might be looking at The Village at Meridian, as one possible location to set up shop. The Boise media outlet BoiseDev spoke to a Meridian commercial project manager and they say the chain is looking at a currently vacant lot adjacent to The Village along Fairview. That's not to say there aren't other locations under consideration.

In-N-Out will not confirm nor deny the location

We reached out to In-N-Out and while they continue to confirm their excitement about opening a store in Idaho, they will not confirm or deny an exact location or timeline. Although, the nod to the city of Meridian suggests In-N-Out has settled on their city of choice.

We know the City of Meridian is a wonderful community and we do hope to open a restaurant there in the future but, at this time, it would be too early to comment on a timeline.

We are still in the very early stages of our development plans in Idaho, but we remain committed to the goal we set in 2020 to be serving Double-Doubles to our Boise area customers within five years. We are very much looking forward to that day, and we appreciate our customers in Idaho who have shared their anticipation with us as well. -

The foot traffic at this mall is busy year-round and would be an excellent spot. And even though it's a bit of a drive for Magic Valley residents, it's not all that unusual for Twin Falls residents to make the occasional trip to the Boise area for shopping and food.
