LAVA HOT SPRINGS, Idaho (KLIX) Two people died when two SUVs crashed into each other on Highway 30 in eastern Idaho. Idaho State Police say both drivers died from their injuries shortly after the crash near Lava Hot Springs at around 1:36 p.m. Police say Larry Holloway, 68, of Pocatello, was headed west in an older GMC Yukon when he crossed the center line into oncoming traffic hitting a Jeep Cherokee driven by Brendan Shakur, 26, of Clinton, UT. Both drivers were killed. ISP says Holloway was not wearing a seat belt. Part of the Highway was blocked for about three hours.
