
Twin Falls Balloon Animal Artist Arrested
This past Friday, Paul Ward, a Twin Falls balloon animal artist was arrested in Twin Falls.
According to the Times News:
Ward walked into the Mr. Gas at 911 Blue Lakes Blvd. N. about 8 p.m. Friday
The cashier who called police said she recognized Ward from his job tying balloons into animal shapes at a local restaurant.
She said Ward approached the counter to pay for a soda when a plastic baggie fell out of his left front pocket. When couldn't find any money, he left the store on a bicycle.
The cashier swept the bag, containing a crystal substance, under a floor mat with her foot and called police.
An officer on-scene tested the substance and it was meth. Ward's preliminary hearing is scheduled for Monday, February 10, 2014.
