Truck Hit by Train in Treasure Valley, Driver Killed

CALDWELL, Idaho (KLIX) The driver of a semitrailer died after his truck was hit by a train at a crossing in southwest Idaho Thursday morning. Idaho State Police say 61-year-old Floyd Gibson failed to yield at a stop sign and was hit by a Union Pacific locomotive at around 10 a.m. on Look Lane. Gibson was towing a gravel trailer, he died at the scene. The crash is under investigation.
