Terry’s Free App of the Day: Escape The Demon Monkeys in Temple Run 2

I don't know how many times I've tried to steal that dang idol only to have the Demon Monkeys chase me down, fall off a cliff, or slam into a wall, and yet with a Wyle E. Coyote like persistence I keep trying.

But now there's a new idol to steal and the Demon Monkeys are bigger and badder than ever in 'Temple Run 2'!

There's something so fun about 'Temple Run.' It has been one of the best-selling games on the App Store since it was released and generated an insane amount of clone apps (one of my favorites is Bear Grylls' 'Survival Run'). The concept is simple: you've stolen a mysterious idol and the Demon Monkey who protects it wants it back. Now you run, jump, slide, and climb to get away. With a simple gesture-based control system, it's easy to pick up, but hard to put down.

Temple Run 2 adds new unique challenges like zip lines, navigating an old mine in a coal car 'Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom' style, new characters, and a bigger, meaner Demon Monkey.
