Fall is officially here, and in the Magic Valley, it marks, for many, their favorite time of the year. The leaves will begin changing and falling soon if they haven't already in your yard or on your street, and the weather is beautiful. It is chilly in the morning, but perfect by midafternoon. Football and soccer are taking up many Saturday mornings for families, and Halloween is just around the corner. While fall is a great time in Idaho, especially in Twin Falls, for all the reasons listed, it also brings some of the best activities and attractions as well. Many have been counting down the days for these fun seasonal and spooky attractions to open. Here is everything you need to know about two of the best in Twin Falls.

Many people like being scared and going to haunted attractions this time of year. It isn't for everyone, especially those with little kids, but is one of the best parts about the fall season. The Haunted Swamp in Twin Falls, located at 646 S Park Ave W, is one of the premier attractions every year in the Magic Valley. One of the questions that makes the rounds this time of year is, 'When does The Haunted Swamp open?' Good news, it is open now. While the calendar may not be in October yet, The Haunted Swamp opened on Saturday, September 14. If you have been waiting to go, you have missed out the last couple of weekends. The Haunted Swamp is open every Friday and Saturday for the rest of September and all of October from 7:30 PM to 11 PM. There is a Kiddie Day for those with little kids on October 19 from 11 AM to 3 PM. For all things Haunted Swamp, make sure to click the link above.

If you aren't a fan of haunted attractions or have little ones, there are other options to have fun this time of year. Tubbs Berry Farm is down the street from The Haunted Swamp at 1250 S Park Ave and offers a more family-friendly environment with less scares but plenty of fun. There is a giant hay maze that will keep you entertained for a while and will have the family laughing, screaming, and at times confused and frustrated. If mazes give you anxiety, there is also food, drinks, giant slides, a playground, a petting zoo, an apple blaster, a pumpkin patch, and much more. It opened this past weekend, with opening day being Friday, September 20. The maze and pumpkin patch will be open Friday and Saturday until October 5 from 10 AM to 9 PM, and beginning October 7 will be open Monday through Thursday from 3 PM to 9 PM, and every weekend from 10 AM to 9 PM until October 31, when they will close at 7 PM.
