When it comes to enjoying the best diners in Idaho, there's never a wrong time or season for that. However, I do feel like the warmer weather is making us all feel like getting out a little more!
Fortunately for us, Idaho is home to some of the greatest restaurants in the country (usually in Boise), but this time there's an amazing diner in a very small town in Idaho making national lists.

One of Idaho’s diners made Lovefood’s list for “Best Diner in Idaho.” Any guesses?
The Rusty Lantern Diner in Ucon!
Here’s what Lovefood had to say about them...
“Housed in a barn-like building set in a yard strewn with old tractors and a flock of bird houses, The Rusty Lantern is a little different to your typical diner (there’s no neon in sight, for example). People fall in love with its warmth and quirkiness, though the food tends to help too. Popular choices include unusual soups like taco, pizza and ham and bean, while it’s considered something of a crime to leave without sampling one of the enormous cinnamon rolls.”
So, who's going to Ucon with me? I've GOTTA try this diner haha! And don't tempt me with those cinnamon rolls come on! Here's pictures of their cinnamon rolls and they look amazing.
