We all have it and we have all witnessed it in some form or fashion. Road rage is a real thing, and it is sometimes hard to hold in. Unless everybody drives exactly how you do, they aren't doing it right. Traffic is either too fast, too slow, or perhaps someone isn't following the rules of a stoplight. Often people will be confused or lost and cut someone off to make a turn because they were in the wrong lane by accident, or maybe someone is looking for a place they have never been and keep hitting their breaks which forces you to almost rear-end them. Whatever the reason for the rage, the main thing is to not act upon it, but some people can't control it and will sometimes cross the line with their road rage.

Most individuals are smart enough to know that those are not proper actions and the results would not fit the crime, but for those that have extreme rage, it is worrisome. You don't typically know the person you cut off or angered, and you can't be prepared for what will happen. The only safe way to avoid others' road rage is to not drive, but that isn't a likely option for many of us.

While road rage is a hard thing to get rid of in life, the best thing to do is take a breath, relax, and try to avoid the person causing it. Odds are slim you will never see them again, so once you pass them, it should be over. Make sure to be aware of your surroundings, stay off your phones when behind the wheel, and pay attention to the road to help prevent causing road rage to other drivers. As long as we all are smart drivers, it should help lessen the road rage, if that doesn't happen, anticipate horns, fingers, and lots of anger in all of our futures.
