Police: Man Checking Cellphone Text Crashes Into House
KUNA, Idaho (AP) — Police say a 24-year-old man who crashed into a house in
southwest Idaho after checking his cellphone has been cited for inattentive driving.
The Ada County Sheriff's Office tells KBOI-TV that Corey West lost control of his pickup at about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and slid into the home near Kuna. Authorities say West told police he was checking a text message when he lost control of the vehicle. Police say West wasn't injured.
