Driving can be calming and relaxing, but it can also be a burden for many. Luckily in Idaho, traffic isn't a concern like it is in other places. Fewer people means more open roads, and fewer major cities help as well. There is plenty of country and open driving in the state, but going through towns and cities can still slow people down. No matter where you live in the country, traffic will always be a problem, especially during rush hours on the weekdays. Some cities are easier to navigate than others, while some you anticipate sitting for awhile. When it comes to driving in cities across the country, there are certain ones like New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles that you know are known for bad traffic, but which cities aren't that bad, and which is truly the worst? WalletHub recently released a list of the best and worst cities to drive in, and did so by using categories such as cost of ownership and maintenance, traffic and infrastructure, safety, and access to vehicles and maintenance. Using these criteria, it was determined that Corpus Christie, Texas is the best city to drive in, with Raleigh, North Carolina being second. When it comes to driving through Idaho's capital and biggest city, Boise is one of the best cities in America to drive in, coming in on the list as the third-best city. Boise is 11 in cost of ownership and maintenance, 27 in traffic and infrastructure, 9 in safety, and 83 in access to vehicles and maintenance. One of the best parts about driving in Boise is that it has the lowest accident likelihood in city limits compared to the national average. You are safer driving through the city than outside of city limits. While many cities across the country see traffic not moving and plenty of accidents, that doesn't appear to be the case in Boise.
