In-N-Out fries are brought up commonly, Burger King's fries offer a different flavor, but the one place that sticks out to most is McDonald's. Most would make a case for these to be the best French fries when it comes to fast food, but according to experts, they are runner-up to the best ones. Allrecipes.com recently asked four chefs who have the best fast-food French fries, and the answer was unanimous, and it may surprise most. All four agreed that Arby's offers the best fries around.

When determining who has the best fries, the chefs were asked to consider a few specific categories. Those categories were crispiness, seasoning, and temperature. A few of the chefs stated that Arby's fries were the trifecta, while another chef said not being able to get curly fries everywhere helped the case for Arby's as well. While the fries are great, some prefer sauce with their fries, and the chefs decided the best sauce to use for dipping is horsey sauce, followed by ketchup, with ranch coming in at third.
